Founder
George Raine is the Founder of Montana Consulting Group and the creator of Turnaround Interview™.
For over four decades, George has been a leading thinker in the field of human resource management in Canada and the United States. He has held senior executive positions in manufacturing, transportation, health care, and government sectors. A specialist in labor relations and human dynamics, he had held a long fascination for the art of persuasive communication and its application to the management of performance in the workplace.
show moreAs the founder and managing director of a successful consulting firm that specializes in organizational culture change, George has worked with more than 150 organizations to develop concrete practices that build managerial leadership and employee engagement.
George was co-founder and twice president of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (now CPHR Canada). He has been a visiting lecturer in many universities and a popular speaker at many conferences.

MAXIME LABBÉ
Managing Director,

Maxime Labbé is the Managing Director and Co-Owner of Montana Consulting Group, as well as a certified master TI™ instructor.
He brings more than 20 years of management experience in human resources and labour relations in manufacturing and professional services. He has advised companies of all sizes and types and coached managers in both French and English.
show moreHe developed expertise in leadership coaching while working with a major national accounting firm and with their clients. His professional approach and understanding of what it takes to build high engagement workplaces marks him as an HR leader.
Max travels throughout North America as a Master Trainer of the Turnaround Interview™ program and leads the “Train the Trainer” program for licensees.
A native of Québec City, he holds a Bachelor of Industrial Relations from Université Laval.

MICHAEL RAINE
Business & Content Development Manager,

Michael Raine is the Business and Content Development Manager at Montana Consulting Group and a certified Turnaround Interview instructor.
Before joining Montana in 2023, Michael spent 12 years in the print and online media industry, including a decade as the Senior Editor and Editor-in-Chief for magazine publisher NWC.
show moreAt NWC, in addition to his managerial functions, Michael reported on the business side of the music and audio industries. He also hosted a business-focused podcast that was highly regarded within the Canadian music industry, as well as business-oriented webinars for music artists and professionals. Michael has also done worked for CBC Montreal, HuffPost, and more.
During his years as a journalist and editor, Michael conducted well over 1,000 in-depth interviews with people of all kinds — from legendary musicians to managers and agents, multinational CEOs to tech innovators, and many more. Michael’s years of experience as an interviewer, as well as his experience as a in-demand conference panel moderator, serves him very well as a TI trainer with Montana.
Michael lives near Hamilton, Ontario with his wife, Dawn, and their two young kids.
