For small- and medium-sized organizations, we will connect you with the certified TI™ instructor who is best suited for your region and needs.

Larger organizations may opt for the train-the-trainer option, allowing the certification of your own internal TI™ instructors, subject to a license agreement. The newly-certified trainers can then teach TI™ to managers across your entire organization.

COURSE OPTIONS

Standard 2-day in-house course

A two-day workshop taught by a certified TI instructor.

Turnaround Interview is a skill practice course rather than simply a knowledge transfer exercise, so extensive practice and repetition is essential. Like chess, you can learn the theory in a day, but you need practice and coaching to master the techniques.

For this reason, course sizes should be limited to 16, unless a second instructor is employed. Experience has shown this to be the most effective format for teaching the needed skills to managers.

All participants receive a course kit to bolster their understanding of Turnaround Interview, both during and after the course.

Can Turnaround Interview be taught online?

Yes it can, though it is ideally learned in-person.

Turnaround Interview is about much more than the words to use in a transformational conversation. You will learn techniques such as how to maintain the direction of the conversation with your employee through effective use of voice control and body language. For this reason, in-person learning is optimal, but we have developed Turnaround Interview so that it can be taught and used online effectively.

Also, as remote and hybrid workplaces have become more common, we’ve added techniques to both our in-person and online workshops to help optimize Turnaround Interview’s effectiveness when conducted over video.

Can Turnaround Interview™ be taught in one day?

Unfortunately no. The lessons and theory can be explained in one day, but it would leave no time for practice. When learning Turnaround Interview™, practice is essential.

Think of it like learning any other hands-on skill, such as skating or carpentry — someone must first explain to you how to do it, but you’re not going to really learn until you practice it yourself!
